The Bible warns us that if we keep quiet, while Israel will be delivered, it is we who perish (Esther 4:14). So here’s how you can advocate for Israel and the Jewish people:

  1. Educate Yourself: learn about Israel’s history, culture, politics, and current issues. Understand the complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and read the Bible to gain accurate insights and Biblical perspectives.
  2. Promote Israel: Israel has made significant contributions to various fields, including technology, medicine, science, and culture. Highlight these accomplishments in your advocacy efforts.
  3. Engage in Civil Discourse: Encourage open and respectful dialogue when discussing Israel. Be willing to listen to different perspectives and engage in constructive conversations, rather than resorting to aggressive or confrontational tactics. However, do not compromise on your beliefs. The Bible tells us that we ought to stand firm in the faith, be stedfast and immovable (1 Corinthians 15:13; 1 Corinthians 15:58). Israel lives forever, has a right to defend itself, and is a beacon of hope to the world (Romans 11; Deuteronomy 20; Isaiah 42).
  4. Correct Misinformation: Combat false information or misconceptions about Israel with accurate and reliable facts. Be prepared to provide credible sources to back up your claims. Recognize and reject Antisemitism and all forms of hatred, racism and discrimination against the Jewish people.
  5. Engage in Activism: Join or support organizations and groups that align with your Israel advocacy goals. Support The Sapphire Project’s efforts to stand with Israel and the Jewish people. Join our Facebook Group: Sapphires for Israel. You can subscribe on our website, donate, and pray for us.
  6. Use Social Media and Online Platforms: Utilize social media, blogs, and other online platforms to share information and opinions about Israel. Engage with a wide audience and use these platforms to foster informed discussions.
  7. Attend Events and Conferences: Participate in events, conferences, and seminars related to Israel to expand your knowledge and connect with like-minded individuals.
  8. Build Alliances: Collaborate with individuals and organizations that share your views on Israel. Building alliances can amplify your advocacy efforts and create a broader impact.
  9. Stay Informed: Keep up with current events and developments in Israel to maintain an informed perspective. Continuous learning and staying updated on the latest news is crucial for effective advocacy.
  10. Most importantly, Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). Be reminded that the Bible says, “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:3).

For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns (Isaiah 62:1)
